CREATING YOUR ORDER

How long does it take to create my order?

We do our best to ship your order as soon as we can, but as most orders require personalisation, we do need some time to process your order. Our estimated dispatch times are below, but are often quicker than this.

Custom Engraved orders are shipped within 1-2 weeks, but can sometimes be quicker than this.

Our ready made designs, such as Birthday, Anniversary & Distance Sports Medals, are shipped within 3-7 days

We recommend ordering at the earliest opportunity, to avoid disappointment.

These dispatch times, are for how long we need to get your order in the post. Please allow extra time on top of this for shipping. See next FAQ for estimated shipping times.

If you need your order by a specific date, then please let us know when you order. We will do our best to get it to you in time, but this is not guaranteed, we offer postage upgrades at checkout to speed up the shipping process.

I need my order quicker than this, can you help?

We offer postage upgrades at checkout, and we will endeavour to ship as soon as we can if this option is chosen, however we do still need time to process and engrave your order.

Estimated shipping times

UK SHIPPING - Standard shipping is Tracked 48 Royal Mail (or 2nd class post for orders under £15). Orders are processed as above and dispatched as soon as possible. 

Most orders arrive within 2-4 working days after dispatch. but can sometimes take longer which is out of our control. 

Please allow 2 weeks for your order to arrive, after it has been dispatched, before contacting us.

Tracked 24 & Royal Mail Special Delivery postage upgrades are available at checkout - please allow additional timings for us to process your order as well, but we will endeavour to dispatch as quick as we can.

EUROPEAN COUNTRIES (NOT IN THE EU) - Most parcels generally take around a week, but can sometimes take longer. Please allow 3 weeks for your order to arrive, after it has been dispatched, before contacting us.

USA, CANANDA & AUSTRALIA SHIPPING - Most parcels shipped to the USA, Canada or Australia generally take around 1-2 weeks, but can sometimes take a bit longer, if they get held up at customs. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to arrive, after it has been dispatched, before contacting us. 

REST OF WORLD SHIPPING - Most parcels shipped to the rest of the world generally take around 2-4 weeks. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to arrive, after it has been dispatched, before contacting us. 

We only currently deliver to the countries listed above, but please get in touch if you would like us to ship to you, with the exception of EU Countries.

We can also send your order by UPS Courier Shipping, please contact us for a price, as this varies depending on your location and order.

* * We do not ship to any countries in the EU, including Northern Ireland, due to changes in GPSR Legislation, which as a small business we are not able to accommodate, unfortunately. 

I am in the USA, does your shipping include the new USA Tariff charges?

All items purchased on our website, by customers in the USA, will now be DELIVERED DUTY PAID - so there should be no additional import costs to pay on your purchase. 

This is in response to the recent change to tariffs on imported goods, introduced by Trump, effective 29 August 2025. 

How much does shipping cost?

We offer FREE DELIVERY on all UK orders.

Orders to any European countries (not in EU), start at £6.

Orders to Canada & Australia start at £13.

Orders to the USA start at £15. This is to take into account the additional fees incurred, following the new USA Tariff changes.

Shipping prices are based on weight and will be calculated at checkout.

If you have allowed the recommended time stated above, and your order has still not arrived, please email us and we will be happy to offer you a replacement or full refund.

LOGO QUESTIONS

What format does the logo need to be and how do I send it to you?

Our preferred format is PDF, JPEG or PNG.

You should be able to upload your logo/image to your order, alternatively you can email it to us at sales@medalenvy.com

Will you be able to engrave my logo?

We can work with most logos, however logos in black & white with clear well defined lines produce the best results. Any images sent to us for engraving, need to be a clipart style image.

Are there any types of logos you can't engrave?

Generally, most logos will engrave really well.

By sending us a logo or image, you are confirming that you have permission to use it and it is not subject to any copyright restrictions.

Are there any types of images you can't engrave?

With images, they need to be a clipart style image, preferably in back & white with clear well defined lines. 

We are not able to engrave from a photograph, but we can engrave a hand drawn image.

Can I see a mock up of how my medal will look before you engrave it?

We send proofs for all orders with a logo or image. We don't generally send proofs for any orders placed with just text, but we are happy to send you a proof if you would prefer. Just add a note to your order.

Proofs can be changed as many times as necessary, until you are 100% happy with it.

ENGRAVING QUESTIONS

How many words can be engraved on your medals?

We can engrave as much text as you'd like, but more words mean smaller lettering. For the front of our medals, we recommend up to around 25 words. The back usually allows for slightly more text, as it has a bigger engraving area. Less is generally more, but we are happy to advise, should your required text be too long.

Do you have a choice of fonts available?

We tend to use Baskerville old face, as standard, although we do sometimes use other fonts if we think it will look better - e.g. if there is a lot of text or to co-ordinate with your logo.

If you have a preference for a certain type of font, please add a note to your order and we will do our best to accommodate you or find something similar.

We have added a few different font options for your reference, at the bottom of this page.

MEDAL DESIGN QUESTIONS

Can you help me with designing a medal?

We offer FREE design, on all of our custom engraved medal orders, if required.

All we need from you is a logo/image (if required), along with the text you would like. 

If you have a rough idea of how you would like it set out, then please add a note to your order. Alternatively, we can come up with how we think it looks best on the medal. 

Medal design proofs

We send proofs for all orders with a logo or image. We don't generally send proofs for any orders placed with just text, but we are happy to send you a proof if you would prefer. Just add a note to your order.
